Although there&#039;s a difference between the sports (e.g. athletics) where there&#039;s a concerted effort by the governing bodies to catch and exclude the cheats, vs those (baseball, cycling) where the governing bodies stick their heads in the sand, aware that there&#039;s a problem and that it&#039;s so bad that it will seriously discredit their sport when the public finds out about it, and hoping to avoid the latter from happening, vs those (football, professional wrestling) where the governing bodies see body types that are impossible to achieve naturally as a welcome part of the spectacle.
