With so many alleged Beckian murders, not to mention the alleged rapes, it is hard to keep the victims and the timeline straight. But you are right, having read at this very website earlier today that Beck's first alleged gruesome murder occurred while Beck was still in grade school, it would be morally indefensible to not further speculate, especially in the face of Beck's stoney silence.

it will be swirled around with BENGHAZ1!!I and 9/11 and Barack Obama’s birth certificate until Beck vomits up another pile of confusion that he may or may not believe

a.k.a. "Monday."

On the whole, I prefer limited damages for libel and slander, because I like a free press, even one that includes Glenn Beck.

The alternative is the UK system, which is loathsome and silences way more legitimate dissent than it curbs assholes.

Hellz yes!!! I wrote to this kid on Facebook right after Beck launched his smear campaign & apologized for the way he was being treated. He wrote back to me & could not have been nicer & genuinely grateful for the heads up and support. This makes my day! Woo hoo!!!

Not only that but he is a genuinely nice kid. I corresponded with him as soon as Beck tried to smear him. I also encouraged him to not let Beck get away with it & to sue him. I feel like a proud 'Merican right now.

If you do the MyFace thingy you can send him a message. He'll reply. Super sweet kid with a good head on his shoulders..

I'm happy to say I'm a very proud co-conspirator for encouraging him to sue. Yeah... I'm totally patting myself on the back and doing a happy dance.

The kid received tons of death threats on Facebook alone (not including those at his residence) & they all stemmed from Beck's "media". I'm pretty sure his proof is rock solid.

BS! How long did it take him to allegedly apologize & more importantly how long did it take him to do it publicly and stuff all his BSC "fans" back in their cages?

(Rant is not directed at you...of course.)

The problem is monetizing "probably non-serious" death threats, to come up with an estimate of damages.

As I've mentioned before, I was at the wedding of my ex-step-daughter in SLC (actually, Midway) last summer. Virtually the entire crowd (except for me and her California relatives) was some degree of LDS. I'd say 90%.

At the reception, the line at the bar was never less than four or five. With the usual "Oh, I'd like to order fifteen drinks". It was a struggle for a gentile to keep a buzz on.

The fuck?

Sadly, nothing close to bankruptcy. The kid is medium-rich, so he may hold out for a settlement in the seven figures, but that is a fucking flea-bite to Beck.

I have more modest hopes. I hope the kid holds out for a few million settlement. I don't think he can get much more, because Beck's reach isn't really that wide. The monetary impact of being defamed by a moron is hard to articulate. He should get some value for the death threats, but since nobody actually made an attempt on his life, that's gonna be limited.

What I really hope is that as a condition of the settlement, Beck is required to go on-air and apologize. Repeatedly.

And I'm sure it's just a coincidence that Bamz and Mass Gov Deval Patrick are tight (I'd say 'thick as thieves', but with their brown-ness I wouldn't want to throw racism into an otherwise perfectly good conspiracy theory) ...

You don't suppose the Guv would be pulling strings with the Boston and State police while Bamz and Holder (another brown type, you be the judge) do the same with the Federales????

Ben Ghazi is the worst lawyer in America who isn't Larry Klayman, Mat Staver or Matt Barber. He doesn't even know how discovery works.
