The ratio on this is amazing There are two major newspapers in Utah. One is the Deseret News, reliably conservative. The other is the Salt Lake Tribune, and its editorial board is Not Having any more of Orrin Hatch's shit. We bring you the following op-ed for your enjoyment, never say we don't get you anything:
Orrin and many of his colleagues have only contempt for those of us who need Social Security and Medicare. Here is what he said to Dennis Sherrod about us:
"I'm just going to say to you that I come from the poor people. And I've been here working my whole stinking career for people who don't have a chance. And I really resent anybody saying that I'm just doing this for the rich. Give me a break," Hatch said."
The good part of being raised Mormon, there realy are many good parts if you want to be plugged into a system and can thrive under the sweat madness. But the best part is when it comes time to walk away it’s easier to see the lie. I’m pritty shure there are catholic traditions that render god abstract enough to be nearly tolerable and lus all the places and what not are realy real there is a Rome not so much the great city of the lamaniets zorosomthing? Damn. Oh well Mormonism is evangelicalism for deeply boring and bussness minded Yankees
What little humanity Orin ever had is long gone and all that's left is anger and resentment. He just wants to keep his seat cause he can't live without the ceremony and perks. I'm not even talking real humanity, he lost the bs Morman scam humanity that is about as deep as an Osman 4 part harmony.
It's the mold. The pod people don't tweak the mold enough between imprints. They don't get why each human should look a bit different so they don't try very hard.

Look at pictures from the big circle jerk in which they all praised the emperor for the venal and mean-spirited tax bill they had just passed.

Lived in Utah for 5 years. Love the jello dessert line. And still love Utah. Hopefully they will boot Hatch to the curb....
