We all know that when referring to Trump's folk that well-regulated is the keycode for sarcasm.

One of the most distressing things to me out of the current load of bullshit the administration is currently throwing out is that it makes the point with abundant clarity: The US presidency does not stand behind any agreement made by the government, either during this administration or previous administrations.

Children of people serving in the military? Sorry, fuck you.Children here receiving medical treatment who have had waivers? Nope. Not gonna do that anymore.

It's been clear since he started dumping treaties he didn't like because reasons (cf Iran, Paris Agreement, etc) that he doesn't have any respect for existing agreements with other countries. The signs have been there that he doesn't give a shit about any agreements with anybody. But now it's becoming perfectly clear. The guy who survived in business by ignoring laws and agreements is not going to be bound by laws and agreements until we make him.

How will the US regain any trust from anyone ever again after this shit?

No, it's not quite Reefer Madness but this quote from the Politico article "Cannabis use in pregnant people more than doubled in the past 15 years, from 3.4 percent to 7 percent, and use is more common during the first trimester" seems to raise as many questions as it does answers. First there is that "during the first trimester" stuff; when during the first trimester? I'd argue that for a significant part of the first trimester that some or a lot of ladies might not even yet know that they're pregnant. And that "more than doubled in the past 15 years" stat is a bit misleading too, 15 years ago pot was illegal everywhere and harder to procure. So I'd think that just the mere availability of it today would lead to a lot of that "doubling." The numbers that it offers are a bit troubling as well; 3.4 % to 7 % is not the same thing as 25% to 50%, even though the ratio is nearly the same.

I think he's really working hard on a project to make John McCain not a citizen...because Snowflake Donnie continues his vengeance, even when those "enemies" are in their graves. That, and Stephen Miller is working on his Final Solution.

Uncertainty is part of the GOP agenda. They did it in North Carolina with voting laws. Despite getting slapped down in court time after time on their voter ID and associated disenfranchisement laws, they kept tweaking the law and still getting smacked in court. They also selectively indicted some minority voters for essentially innocent violations, such as being told they could register to vote after being released from jail but not being informed they could not if they were still on probation. Then making a claim that you could end up spending years in jail if you voted illegally. But it did create a lot of uncertainty among the targeted voting block, mostly poor black voters. Many of them decided to play it safe and not vote at all. Meanwhile, we are still in the voting period for the 9th US congressional district seat that required a re-vote because of massive GOP fraud.

One hopes that other countries will understand that the Trump Regime was an aberration that will never be repeated. As long as we take steps to make sure it's not.

So this policy change affects American citizens who go back to Israel to live and give birth. What are we going to do with their kids? Treat them like common Palestinians.

" ... because reasons" where reasons = Obama. He is obsessively jealous of Obama, who is brilliant, well-spoken, beautifully good looking, engaging, respected, almost universally admired, and entirely self-made. (He's not admired by the hoopleheads who adore Trump.)

That jealous obsession is setting the world afire, to the glee of Vladimir Putin. Trump's no Russian agent; he's far too stupid for that. He is, however a Russian asset, especially when one spells asset asshat.
