Thank you for this tribute, Marcie. I wrote mine some years ago. Not relating to the movie about guys taking a road trip to break into Skywalker Ranch so their dying friend could see the new Star Wars movie, I wondered what kind of similar situation I would relate to. For a certain time that we all know of, that would have been trying to get a peek at the Mueller Report before its release.
Reader, I wrote it. And this month you can read it for free when you join the Cozy Mystery Book Club (https://cozymysterybookclub.com). In March you'll receive an exclusive ebook box set of my first three books in the Black Orchid Enterprises Mystery Series and another free book from other authors every month thereafter. Also, I'm obliged to say, a free interview with the author. I haven't dared look at mine.
So join the Cozy Mystery Book Club and honor the fallen hero, all free.
He did his job the way he had learned the Institutionalist Government wanted it done, which was not at all. Same with his spiritual kindred James Comey and Merrick Garland. And now we are where we are.
Trumps' gloating over the death of Robert Mueller is one of the few times he has been honest with the American people. Trump must be made an unperson in American history.
I don't think Trump is long for this world, judging how sick he has appeared for a few years now and how his doctors keep lying about it. That being said, I can't wait to read what people have to say about the disgusting old narcissistic fuck.
Mine is that my grandchildren will still be seeing and living with the damage the bastard has caused. Even Nazi Germany didn't fall from the world's grace as fast as America did.
I remember the post by the departed Charlie Kirk which said that one can tell a person's true character by their reactions to someone's death. Or words to that effect. It had thousands and thousands of likes. Probably the only time I ever agreed with anything that scumbag ever said/posted. Pepperidge Farm remembers.
I might have wished he would step beyond what he viewed as his lane. I wished he'd let a subordinate leak some docs. I wished he'd break rules. But he was not that guy.
Given the damage that digging that all up, I find it supremely ironic that it is the "Technicians of Hunan Province Geological Disaster Survey" are doing this....
Requiescat in pace, Robert Swan Mueller III!! 🫡🙇♂️
Considering Lady Marcie's summarization of Mueller's CV, no wonder the Orangutan Oligarch hated him.
Muller had infinitely more well-grounded and well-rounded bona fides than that pig-fucker Donnie Dipshit Douchebag Wanna-Be-Mob-Boss was, is or could ever be.
That was a terrific obituary, Marcy! (Hope you don’t mind if I call you Marcy?). You wrote a wonderful send-off for Lieutenant Mueller, a better one than I think he deserved, but you are a better person than me.
As a retired grunt who has problems with Norman Schwarzkopf (read CDB Brian’s Friendly Fire to hear about one part of his ‘Nam service, when he wouldn’t call out the stupidity and injustice of the war to grieving parents who were going through what Pat Tillman’s family went through later; plus ce la change) and Colin Powell (way to go before the UN and make false statements before the world, sir; you have never had your career destroyed by telling a service-connected fib to get a mission accomplished, like a lot of grunts have, and you threw General Shinseki and all of us under the bus, Blue Falcon) and Senator Chuck Hagel (you did a great thing on one day of your life, and cast a lot of votes that make you another Blue Falcon on other days; from the grunts you threw under the bus: thanks a lot, Senator).
Just because Lieutenant Muellar had on honorable tour of duty doesn’t excuse some of his Blue Falconry later. He still did bad things at the FBI, like turning our domestic national force into a global counterintelligence operation. (Catching domestic spies like Robert Hansen and the Walkers and Jonathan Pollard is one thing—a thing Military Intelligence, NSA, DIA, and the CIA should be leading on. Robert Hansen and the Rosenberg Trial and the Alger Hiss Case (not guilty, Robert Conquest; never proved) are why the FBI shouldn’t be doing counterespionage.).
Hoover showed how domestic wiretapping leads to civil liberties violations and blackmail, and Mueller had to remind us all in the 00s why it was a bad thing. (Watch Fahrenheit 911 for details of how an anti war church group got surveilled by the big bad FBI.). Mueller was renominated by Obama because the GOP under Mitch would have killed the nomination of a civil libertarian Judge/police chief, and Barack didn’t want to make waves. (That’s the epitaph for Obama: he didn’t want to make waves; threw the entire Rainbow Coalition under the bus.)
And there is the Mueller Report, when Robert had a chance to save the Republic, and let his church buddy fellow Republican Bill Barr throw him under the bus. Lieutenant Bob had the chance to leak judiciously. He had the chance to say in big black letters “Donald Trump is a Russian Traitor and a crook who needs to be in jail!”
Simple sentences instead of double negatives. Hoover would have called Trump a Communist. Hoover would have blackmailed Trump worse than Putin. Hoover would have arranged to have the Hearst Media publish the transcript of the pee pee tape and the pictures of the Russian prostitutes with Stormy and Donald on page three. (Because J Edgar would have been tailing DJT since 1978, like he always did, and have kept those files in his office with Helen Gandy having the other key.). Bobby, as a civil libertarian I hate to say it, but your scruples make me pine for the bad old days of prurient John Edgar and Clyde Tolson. At least JEH kept the USA safe from Russia and the Communists.

Ta, Marcie. That Thing in the Offal Office belongs in the dock in The Hague for crimes against humanity. Meanwhile, Shut up, Piggy.
Ranger training is a very, very rigorous program. I admire anyone who can make it through that.
I'm sorry that Scott Bessent's conscience is dead.

My only regret is that Trump won't get to see the worldwide celebration at the announcement of his death.
Mine is that my grandchildren will still be seeing and living with the damage the bastard has caused. Even Nazi Germany didn't fall from the world's grace as fast as America did.

Quang Tri aka the Iron Triangle.
R.I.P. Robert S Mueller.
Mueller owed us so much more than just shrugging his shoulders and walking away.
He hardly did that.
I might have wished he would step beyond what he viewed as his lane. I wished he'd let a subordinate leak some docs. I wished he'd break rules. But he was not that guy.
What he did NOT do was shrug his shoulders.
Now that man is a true American hero. Fuck Donald Trump.
Turns out that bipartisanship is nothing but an empty phrase that will be used against you when you're not dealing with good-faith actors.
Not precisely empty; from my observation, it means the cons will run everything, fuck everything up, and then come crying to us to split the bill.
Gee, it's as though you're describing an ongoing, abusive relationship.
OT Today is a good day for stock market traders to learn.
Eyes glued to 3 or 4 screens all day. Fingers resting on keyboards.
Constipated, coffee breath, deodorant failed 2 hours ago.
Runners brought bagels, now cold sandwiches.
Supposed to workout today. Probably won't.
Gotta leverage right. Is bounce back according to script? Mostly?
Russell leading the way. Finally.
Tech good, ok.
Retail a bit flakey. Walmart up, Costco down. Where's that note on their shit?
Time to roll some dice? Who doesn't like Costco? Damn.
Now wife wants to go out. Babe, pick a fukin' restaurant!
Can she at least do that? Yes, I know it's Spring break. No I can't leave early.
Draft Kings up? Stupid Senate.
OT They found gold in Hunan Province. A lot. Tons and tons and tons.
The Orangeglomp gonna be dumping in his diapers.

IMHO, the rich veins of gold and silver in Tibet is why Tibet is no longer an independent country.

When all is said and done, Robert Mueller didn’t.
