I found his views on states' rights and pollution to be interesting....until I remembered that their air doesn't tend to stay confined within the borders of Texas.

I looked up the numbers, and apparently in a state with almost 25 million people, only 2.7 million voted for Perry last week, and he still won.

"I was quoted out of context" is the classic excuse used by someone caught with his - or her - pants around the ankles and with nothing, nothing, else to offer in the way of a reasonable - believable - explanation.

It's right up there with the Tea Bagger excuse when someone at one of their little events is photographed with an obnoxious sign. "Must be a plant."
