Citizens United helped. A lot. Republicans don't have to know anything about how the government works, don't have to develop a coherent policy plan, none of it. A couple million dollars in ad buys by billionaires painting your opponent as a doody head gets you in the door. After that, you just fake it.

Good to know. They're brutal, but they're also honorable.

I watched Mace's original statement on the day she made it and thought for just a fleeting second that, despite some glowing red flags in what she she was saying about legacies or whatever, it was nice to see that a new R in Congress was wiling to frankly call out what had just happened at the Capitol. To my disappointment - if not surprise - Mace changed her tune shortly after. Shortly after a heartless-to-heartless talk with party leadership, no doubt. She started sounding just like all the other R women who appear determined to prove the worth of their own particular brand of feminism wherin they can be just as mean and dumb as any man ever has been.

The tax cuts aren't even his. He never used his bully pulpit to push it, never offered anything to the legislation. All he did was sign the final bill that McConnell and Ryan passed.

Like the article says, this Mace person has no ideas. It's like she's just a placeholder. All she has is throwing shade at AOC. Sad!

The entire Republican Party platform has been reduced to, "Hey! Look over there!"

This Wade woman does not want to get into a war of wits with AOC as she is clearly unarmed.

Yeah, it's not like Brooklyn where a slapfight might break out among fans of various sorts of artisanal beard oils.
