We're going to see a ton of health care workers retire/leave the profession after this, adding to the problem of shortages of medical professionals. This would be too exhausting and demoralizing.
So, a sixth of the country is completely fuckbonkers with no hope of remedy. If we can get the other 83% vaxxed, we might be ok.
That it takes the concerted efforts of the biggest megaphone on cable tv, several up and coming conspiracy channels, and god only knows what kind of troll army on social media to get us to the point we’ve reached really ought to be more comforting, but it’s not.
Republicans are in disarray. This is obviously going to hurt Democrats in the midterms. I hope Joe Manchin can help the Republicans so democracy can flourish.
If they come to your house to give you a vaccine then they can come for your guns and bibles? Does Madi think nurses are like vampires? That they have to be invited in but once that happens now they know how doors to your home work and they can scamper in and steal all your stuff all the time?
