If the 2012 election was all about the "47 percent," you should probably brace yourself for another number in this year's midterms: "67 Percent." That's the "disappointingly low" percentage of ACA enrollees who have actually paid for their insurance, according to the House Energy and Commerce Committee. BOOM, Obamacare, total failure! Oh, except like the idea that only 47% of Americans pay any taxes at all, this new number is
yeah, it's working. good public policy equals good policy outcomes.
They would do anything for votes, but they won't do that.
Even if the 67% figure is bullshit, Americans will not ignore the fact, as revealed by Meatloaf, that two outta three ain't bad.
Here's another set of numbers: 100% of the eleventy-galillion congressional votes to repeal Obamacare have been 0% effective, and 100% wasteful of taxpayer dollars, and yet I'm 98% sure the GOP will vote on another billion repeals because they are ten-thousand times stupider than a heard of three-hundred-and-forty-eight rabid goats.
Only because it could be slightly less or lots more than a billion more times. But about the stupidly part, I'm dead certain.
There ain't no way they're ever gonna love it (the ACA).
And support Cliven Bundy.
My local TV station trailed a report about the low numbers paying their ACA premiums, but then must have checked the facts, because when the ACA report was broadcast, all that was mentioned were the numbers who had signed up.
Lies, damned lies, statistics, GOP/FucksNews talking points.
Dylan sang that "Black is the color; none is the number." Maybe a GOP vote-counting strategy?
Maybe we should sacrifice an abacus?
Their superior morality makes it essential to deliberately violate their own commandments again and again.
The Republican Party has two factions: the Greed faction and the Bloodlust faction. About 75% of the GOP is all about greed. If I vote Republican I will pay lower taxes. I know this to be true because that's what the GOP says.
The 25% who vote for wars, guns, the death penalty, wars wars and wars are mostly rich men who work on Wall Street, rich men who thrive in the military procurement sector, and poor men who like to blow shit up in the backyard on weekends.
