I've been a poll worker and one of the best ways for these numbnuts to see what happens in an election is for them to be poll workers. It's long, boring hours of checking in people's names and handing them ballots, letting them fill in those ballots, and then putting them in the box to be counted. There's always one person of each party plus the location manager or deputy to watch over anything sensitive. If there's any question about someone's registration or address they go to the provisional table where the votes are kept separate. Poll workers don't count the votes, inspect ballots, or even handle marked ballots - they simply facilitate the voting process. Any poll worker who disrupts that process is dismissed and could be committing a felony.
Also, all of the people of any party that I've met who actually work the polls are very, very proud of the work they do to insure that everyone gets the opportunity to vote. We would not take kindly to someone interfering in that process. The people on the board of elections are pretty serious about that, too.
There is something to the idea that people tend to believe other people think the way they do. But also, Rethugs are cynical, lying bastards whose only goal in life is to "win" elections and increase their own power and money.
