Odd that they're ignoring Marjorie Taylor-Greene.

There's no reason they couldn't change the rules to allow a regency speakership, with the job rotating through a Council of Regents comprising Boebert, Gaetz, Jordan and the Greene creature. Mr Trump could Xoom in at the beginning of each session (after the prayers, because they are so boring) and give his members their overall instructions for the day, and leave it to the regent du jour to carry on.

The Chicago Cubs tried a "College of Coaches" in the early 1960s, with no single manager, but rotating "head coaches."

If it wasn't for the Mets, they would have finished dead last anyway. The Mets kept them out of the cellar.

The Cubs gave up and hired Leo Durocher as sole manager in 1966 or 1967. By his own definition, the Cubs were "nice guys" in his first year. They finished last.

"Maybe the new rule will be you HAVE TO be indicted to be speaker, huh?"

Wouldn't be surprised. If there's one thing to be said about the right, it's how they are blind (or simply don't care) how standards apply as a whole and not to specifics. So if changing the standards will get them what they want in a particular case they will do it. Never mind if doing so burns the entire house down because who even cares about that as long as they get their short-term gain?

Don't forget Stephen Nazi Miller speaker for a day. And with no Dress Code, Three Shirts Bannon speaker for a day.

They won't let Tucker Carlson do it 'cause we all know what a liar he is and nobody can believe him even if he pinky promises to give back the gavel after 24 hours.

This is more-or-less exactly what I was thinking. I'd love to watch PAB get rolled on a regular basis by Joe and the gang, which they could easily do as long as they were willing to flatter him enough.

It's funny too how this guy looks forward to Trump "negotiating with Schumer." So the GOP members could lie there like babies waving their feet and hands in the air. The Democrats in the House wouldn't bug them anymore.

I don't remember Democratic involvement in McCarthy's exit! I can't see any Democrats tweeting that guy about this. Of course Bolling will agree to anything suggested by this young dope of a guest. Anxious to fix up something nice for the squatting orange tub of their dreams. In four years-- why shouldn't he preside over the meeting the IMF and the World Bank like to put on? He may be able to produce some of those documents-- for the ones who like him.

lol - ya know, if they put Trump in, the R's would all of a suddenly be working hard with the Dems to stop him from destroying the country and therefore getting them unelected - you bet

I'm not sure Trump understood that if he were speaker, he would be obligated to sit there and listen to Democratic Leaders giving speeches fifty percent of the time, and that he 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥𝘯'𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘶𝘱𝘵 !!
