"It may not be a white Christmas, but for many Americans it will be a well-stocked one."

The lack of the white Christmas is the larger concern, IMO. This is getting scary.

That, and the rich guys who run the media conglomerates want Trump back in power. The chaos he causes is good for ratings (if not for society), and he'll also give rich executives the tax cuts they crave.

My local Giant Eagle has been out of seaweed strips and almond egg nog for a while. They have everything else I want, though.

No, he'd have to scream "Best Happy Holidays ever!" to maintain his lib cred and give the wingnuts more to whine about.

The first time my mom saw a green Christmas in northern Michigan was 1984, she sent me a photo. Now there's been (a little) snow on the ground on Christmas day 3 of the last 10 years.

Saw the zoomed out version of that photo on a different site. The shelves had been emptied to reset them with a different product, the boxes with the new product are sitting on the ground next to them.

Relatives in Peru are seeing shortages, since they're sending product that was originally designated for them to the US.

My CVS keeps running out of Topo Chico mineral water. But that's probably because I personally buy out their entire stock every week.

Totally agree. I'm in the mountains of Maine, and we have basically had 3 snows, with rain mixed in. Haven't been skating yet bc it's been so warm. We have only hit the single digits twice this winter, and early December the lows frequently were above freezing.

We're too late to prevent a lot of disastrous warming. It sucks.

I fantasize about Monkeywrench Gang scenarios every time I see a billboard, especially a lighted one. (Maine and Vermont don't have billboards, and that's where I spend most of my time).

Northeastern Wisconsin just celebrated it's fifth consecutive brown Christmas. No snow on the ground, and NONE in sight. At least the Packers won!

I'll tell you right now there was no sweet vermouth on the shelf at Target last night. Manhattan's were not consumed so let's go brandon I guess.
