It sure would be nice if we could put aside our partisan differences for just one half of one second to agree that torturing people -- by, for example, raping prisoners with food, or, for another example, killing them -- is bad and wrong, and we shouldn't do that. But yeah, sure, right, whatEVER. This is America, where the one and only time we can agree on anything at all is that
Because you just know that all those terrorists have been sitting around wanting to do some terrorist stuff, but just couldn't quite bring themselves to do it. "You know, I really want to blow up a building or behead an infidel or fly a plane into something, but without that last bit of proof to justify hating the Great Satan America, I just can't do it. If only they'd release a report of some sort, then I could go out and martyr myself and score some of those virgins in good conscience. But until then I guess I'll just have to be patient and wait for a good enough reason"
Um, that actually did happen. It's in the report that they took a prisoner's food, mushed it into a fine paste, and then shoved it up his rectum.
But hey, why read when you can continue your moronic vendetta, right?
"I have no doubts that it will create problems for our country and the men and women serving our nation around the globe."
I assume Graham means "it" is the torturing and raping that's creating those problems, not the report.
I looked at Free Republic to see what the raving wingnuts had to say about torture and the report. The report was apparently written by Democrats (possibly Nancy Pelosi) to discredit America, and torturing jihadis was the point with any information gained a bonus.
You know, the angry enemies that might be angered by this report probably ALREADY KNOW ABOUT IT, MOSTLY BECAUSE THEY WERE THE ONES BEING TORTURED
The fear and loathing of Merikans by feriners is good, also too.
Unfortunately, the post-military career that would most appeal to a professional torturer is "cop".
It would be just like Hitler.
How do you go about choosing Republicans for an "Intelligence Committee?"
And the death penaly, also too.
The original commandment was "Thou shalt not kill fetuses." (The last word got chipped off when Moses dropped the tablets.)
Sounds pretty mild for the freepers.
Actually, they were just in a hurry to finish the job before the war ended. Priorities, you know.
Man, if the terrorists find out that kidnapped people to black sites and tortured them extensively, they'll really be mad!
Therefore we should let ISIS decide what Americans may or may not know about what their government does on their behalf.
The CIA only lies to the bad guys! They would never lie to the good guys!

Mostly the Ferguson PD, apparently

Republicans are always big on moral absolutes but for some reason they seem to be flexible with torture.
