True story: many moons ago I was walking down the street in SF. There was a homeless man sleeping on the sidewalk on one side of me, and a limo in the street to the other.
According to my daughter, who lives in the Bay Area, Ellen Brown only garnered 6% of the vote. Too bad, really. A few years prior to 2016 she wrote a fascinating book, "Web of Debt" that was a real eye opener.
This was close to *counts* - good dog, 40 years ago - so I really don't know what they do now. He technology wasn't there then for electronic monitoring. Yes, there was and is reporting but I think it was not usually to the police station, maybe to an office at the courthouse. But as I say, I don't know what's happening now.
Ah, yes. Saw an episode once. Bunch of grown men - and one smurfette lady - driving around in leathers, yelling 'beep' a lot, and finally jumping on some poor schmuck who was fined 3 years ago for parking his car in front of a fire hydrant.
You know, Europeans are often horrified but then you can go over there and get horrified too. A refugee official from the UN or the EU was here in SF this summer and she visited the homeless encampments and said she'd never seen anything like it in Europe so all the people in this city were sharing this awful fact. But I tell you that was a comical statement for her to make. Comical!

Yeah, they think they've got all the passion and patriotism on their side. If they try anything, I figure they're in for a rude awakening.
There's an article at The Root about this. Didn't read it past the headline. I get the impression they share the ACLU's sentiments.

I see. At least there was an effort to get at it.
Yeah, I have to admit you are probably right. There is that saying: "Behind every great fortune lies a great crime."
In Hawaii, no less. A greased hog in a fenced pit has a better chance of escape

Actually, it's completely true.
Good for you!
There is some truth to it. My Aussie taxes use a web site run by the government.
Eh, no. C was almost always "get born to parents who did B."Did I say almost always? I mean always. Always.

Oh I guess that's inevitable isn't it? The swine.

They don't have any GPS things or bracelets or reporting to the police station ?
