Florida Gov. Rick Scott (R-Not Actually Human) has seen the light on Medicaid expansion. You know, the original light he saw when he first opposed it, but then changed his mind and saw the other light during the 2014 election and supported it in a real tear-jerker of a speech that turned out to be all lies (surprise!). But now, in the middle of budget negotiations with the state legislature, he's back to thinking Medicaid expansion
And really, what choice did he have but to give the contract to them? It isn't like the state is crammed full of medical labs and other services, such as, oh, every 100 feet or so up and down US 1 between Ft. Pierce and Miami ...
The IMPORTANT thing is that the testing did remove money from the treasury and give it to Scott's wife, who controlled the testing company hired to do the testing. So, looting done!
I have a feeling that the creature that is called Ann Coulter - and the creature that is called Rick Scott...came from the same pod. Funny: people think I am questioning its gender when I call Ann "it". It's actually not a question of gender at all, but humanity. Indeed, Ann and Rick may be some of the best evidence we've got that malevolent aliens walk among us.
Many of us here didn't vote for him. Obviously not enough of us, but again, many of us did not vote for him and couldn't be more appalled that he won. Again. Sort of like GW.
I couldn’t agree with you more. If they’re not educated they won’t recognize we’re privatizing education, Medicare, S.S., and we can use the money we save by giving tax cuts to the rich, which of course also includes us.
my ex-inlaws have a picture of Clinton gazing longingly at my ex-sister-in-law's ample cleavage as he is presenting her husband an award or something (I wasn't paying attention, too taken in by his obvious stare.)
Okay, so they spent 57,142.85 per person to enroll them in this program, which means it would take 45.7 trillion dollars to enroll all 800,000 currently uninsured Floridians. Makes perfect economic sense.
Better yet, wait for the oceans to rise, and, hopefully, most of those people will be the first to go under. Problem solved.
Sadly, it's no surprise that the detestable Scott doesn't give a damn that his decision to not expand Medicaid will result in the needless deaths of between 1,158 and 2,221 Floridians as per a Harvard study.
And they are a valuable addition to the labor pool. I mean, who else are you gonna get to work the graveyard shift?

Voldemort.
Which came first? Stupid voters or Republicans? One of the main objectives of the GOP is to "keep 'em scared and stupid". More GOP voters that way.

Not a blunder in his mind since he personally profited from it.

A good point that I almost forgot.

He's no lizard. Just a confused idiot who has too many voices in his head and he could not remember which voice said what last.
