I got to spend a few nights in our county jail's infirmary. All I "needed" was IV fluids, but the nurses were nervous, it took three of them multiple attempts, and still didn't feel right. It's not so much that the private medical staff were bad, or uncaring. I wouldn't say incompetent either: months later they wanted a blood draw, and I noticed the nurse didn't even brace the guy ahead of me's arm. And yet, when my turn came, he slid that needle in like it was an angel kitten's whisker.
The issue, I think, is that they all have some issue. Shyness, personal skills, language barriers, something *off* that they had to resort to working in a jail. My theory, anyway. After that, it's basically barest supplies, shitty network, everything takes ten times as long, and having inmates as patients.
Not excusing this, of course. That's on the CO's to notify medical. And trust me, a woman in labor would be just another voice in the din. I listened to psychotic patients scream all night long, slamming themselves into the walls (they're in turtle suits, can't really hurt themselves). Also, fucking freezing.
Anyway, my point? Uh, stay out of jail, kids.Edit: And, I mean, support inmate rights, too.
True, but both acts are still pretty disgusting. The Connecticut corrections system needs an enema. Ideally, the people in charge will learn what conditions in their filthy prisons are like from the inside.
As for Savage, you'd hope he would at least show some gratitude (sincere or not) to Rush for setting the example that he and so many others followed. However, Savage is so depraved that he can't even fake a moment of human decency for his own benefit. No wonder he likes Trump!

Frogs and Toads are a PURE GOOD, zapping dangerous insects like mosquitoes and houseflies (which spread diseases). They stand around and look fierce, but they aren't. Toads make hilarious pets....they sit in a water-filled cup, eat crickets, and try to look fierce.
