I have eaten at a Chick-Fil-A once, simply to find out what was so great about their food. Turns out, nothing. Must be the deep-fried Jesus coating that makes it so much more memorable than any other restaurant's chicken sandwich.
I had one or their crappy chicken sammiches before I found out they hate my daughter's best friend. I really wasn't going back anyway, but they made it easy to turn down their overpriced critter biscuits.
The bill prohibits all government entities in Texas from taking "adverse actions" against any company or individual because of religious beliefs.
You already know this is a bill made for religion and not for the state. If it were fair it would have emphasized BOTH adverse AND beneficial actions, not just one of them.
If I'm seriously pining for fried chicken I can go to Hattie's in Saratoga. Worth the drive..except not right now; racing season and Saratoga is overrun with horse nuts.
My local CfA has at least one trans employee. So not all the managers are bigots. I just hate when "Christians" do shit like this. Makes the rest of us look bad.
Also, Abbott can go fly a kite with his "anti-discrimination" bullshit. Ain't nobody buying that.
looks like I'll be opening my halal kebab shop in a texas airport soon, the trick is gonna be, texas also has a law that says the state can't have a contract with anybody who supports the BDS movement (and while we can all laugh at texas, CA, CO, and NY all have anti BDS laws just like it) so what if my religion tells me to support BDS on religious grounds? (I have a feeling some religions are more equal than others)
it was terrible but didn't rise again.

Dok covering LGBTQIA+ issues and not Evan? Cool by me, Dok is totally welcome at our parade anytime!
I actually like their chicken sandwiches as well. I still won't buy them, though.

Ooooh, good idea!
I would be willing to bet the satanic temple is already all over this

is pretty broad, and seems like it would be an awful lot of fun to rub their noses in.

Long pork sammiches?
Yeah. It seems they didn't think this all the way through. Good luck with your shop!
Time for the Satanists to open Satan’s Burger House in several locations.
What is Popeye's Chicken's record for discriminating against gays, trans, or anybody but Nazis?
Because if I find out they're assholes like Jack Chick Filler, it will break my heart.
