I’m a bit late on this and probably no one will see it, but get this: my glorious but autistic lag behind 2nd grade daughter’s 10th birthday is 6/18 and this year Juneteenth is on a Monday. So we’re having her first real blowout kid bday party on Juneteenth and are thrilled that ALL 13 of her classmates’ parents were too stupid to plan a long weekend so they’re ALL coming to Glow’s “fairy walk-face paint-bouncy castle-plant some herbs-lawn twister and, yes that weird jelllo fruit watermelon slice thing Editrix posted weeks ago.(Been dealing with transplant complications so I’m not really able to be here on the mark these days)
My Juneteetnth is me struggling to wrangle 14 kids, 12 typical and 2 neurodivergent 2 weeks from today, plus my Florida-mom and her new puppy who bites. And also my dad. And my parents hate each other and they both bate my husband bc he’s been kind of a douche lately
