Just think! If Pam Bondi's fentanyl seizures hadn't saved 258 million lives those 100 million illegal[sic] immigrants would be among those dead.

Many years ago being a "commie" or even being commie-adjacent was enough to get your life ruined, and if you wanted to enter the USA for any reason (such as visiting your sick grandmother) to be denied. Shouldn't we do the same, at least, for Nazis?

Skunk Formerly Known As Stoner's avatar

Remember when Trump joked that Stephen Miller wanted everyone in the country to look like him? (i.e., white, not necessarily Nosferatu)

That 100 million is roughly the number of non-white people in the country, including native-born citizens. So I don’t think he’s bad at math. Bad at logistics and economy and all the practical implications of removing a third of the country. But they’re deadly serious about the number.

Now ICE is back to gooning in Chicago. They chased down a guy, in the process ramming a woman who was stopped at a red light, threw him to the ground, tased and cuffed him (not necessarily in that order), then threatened the driver they had just rammed with arrest.

Bovino is undoubtedly licking his chops and wishing he could be here.

I wonder if ICE is coming back here just because they're feeling pissy about getting dunked on in federal court in the "Broadview Six" case.

"Mass deportations are the solution to perpetual victory" - he is correct! The 'problem' of "victory" for America has a clear solution and indeed losing can be effectuated by mass deportations. How right you are, Pocket Hitler!

Oh, wait, shit-fer-brains meant "key to." Of course I knew that, but couldn't but help myself to grammar pedantry.

Rhand Holm's avatar

"solution to perpetual victory" So he's saying it's the final solution? That choice of words from a guy attending a fascist conference is not a mistake.

Quelle Surprise...

D.C.’s National Guard surge didn’t deter violent crime, a new report says, despite coming at a steep cost for taxpayers. Ahead of America’s 250th birthday events, President Trump plans to double the deployment — currently costing $1.5 million a day — to 5,000 troops.

The big picture: Researchers at the Niskanen Center found last August’s deployment led to a 24% decline in “opportunistic” property crimes.

Auto thefts, for example, dropped sharply; so did other property offenses. But violent crimes — including robberies — were already on a downward cycle pre-deployment, and the deployment didn’t measurably change anything.

He doesn't want any protests taking attention away from his birthday celebration. Guard soldiers cracking skulls would prove what a tough guy he is and be a bonus for him. It's not his money he's pissing away.

In a decent world , wouldn't the little guy be detained trying to get back in merikkka being a known nazi?

I'm surprised they let him in to begin with.

Europe is quite happy to refuse entry to loud Nazis.

OT, but WTF, Marco:

In a heated exchange with Democratic ranking member Gregory Meeks, Marco Rubio initially skirted a question on whether he had warned Donald Trump that launching a war on Iran would drive up costs on gas, food, travel and shipments.

Rubio then refused to give a yes or no answer on whether or not he warned the president that starting a war against Iran “could result in the regime placing a chokehold on the strait of Hormuz”.

But he added: “The president and the administration was aware there would be consequences to action, but the consequences of Iran having a nuclear weapon were worse.”

He added: “All the risk factors were understood, but the important risk factor was Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.”

Asked again if he warned Trump of the potential consequences, Rubio said: “Everyone was aware of what Iran might do in retaliation … but they cannot have a nuclear weapon.”

And asked if he warned the president that Iran would launch retaliatory attacks against US partners, allies and Americans living or working in the region, Rubio said: “Everyone knew what Iran would do in response, we were prepared for any response … but they can’t have a nuclear weapon.”

That the administration knew that attacking Iran would place the US’s regional allies in the line of fire and drive up costs but went to war anyway is quite an admission from the secretary of state.

I wouldn’t believe they really understood the economic consequences when Rubio is clearly lying about being prepared for any response since his State Dept’s response was to tell ex-pats in the region to phone home then not answer.

Bitter Scribe's avatar

That "we had to get them before they got a nuke" line got thoroughly trashed in the Iraq war, with Trump one of the main trashers in 2016.

Marco, you're trying to hang a ten-ton weight on a reed.

PrimerGray's avatar

<the consequences of Iran having a nuclear weapon were worse.>

Like what? They wouldn't use it unless attacked. If they did use it, the retaliation on them would be exponentially worse than the harm they caused. Or does he mean that if they had one it would safeguard them from being attacked since the threat of them using it would be a deterrent?

lmurr's avatar

"We and our friends can have these things but you can not" does not work on the world stage.

Negotiating in good faith like with the agreement he tore up does,

This is just the rationale they've decided to stick with. And it's bullshit.

Also, has anyone in the last 40 years actually listened to his music?

No reason he wouldn't openly reveal his Nazi ties.

The consequences for doing so aren't sufficient enough to drive these fuckers back into the shadows.

Mainly because Nazis are now the mainstream of the Republican Party.
