Apparently cops and Marines DO have a right to not be offended. For the last week or so, conservatives have been having conniptions over a high school student's painting hanging in a hallway between the U.S. Capitol and congressional offices, because it hurts their feelings with an unflattering portrayal of police. The painting was submitted last spring by David Pulphus, then a high school senior, as part of the House of Representatives “Artistic Discovery” contest for high school artists, and was selected as a winner by Missouri Democrat Lacy Clay. Based on the 2014 protests in Ferguson, it depicts two cops as warthogs pointing guns at protesters while a black man is crucified on the scales of Justice. While it had been on display since May, the painting suddenly became far too offensive and dangerous for public consumption once
Now, if I were Lacy Clay I would not put the painting back, I would introduce a bill before the elected representatives to get that area of hallway named as 'The Duncan Hunter Safe Space'.
Also too, you've got to love the Streisand Effect, what are the chances of me, a Brit, seeing this in the first place.
I hate to say it and this is just my opinion-but-all the marines I have met in the service of this great Trumpastan-were really close to being stupid. Plus-Bob the Doberman laughed at the rabbit being on an airplane-he just would have ate him and then not worried about paying for the rabbits airfare. Dobermans are always thinking about saving taxpayers money.
I don't know if this was posted yet, but no story on Duncan Hunter Jr. is complete without mentioning that he's the Vaping Congressman! He's the preeminent advocate for vaping and vaping rights on the Hill!http://images.gawker.com/lh...http://gawker.com/vaping-co...
Vaping doesn't work. A professor in a lecture to which I listened on an educational DVD made the observation that most of us alcoholics didn't start our drinking history with scotch but with wine coolers and the fruity flavors adding to the vapors is doing just as much to introduce our adolescents to a lifetime of nicotine addiction.
Yeah, it is not a good thing, but I much prefer being around vaping than smoking. I wouldn't want a potential fire hazard and certain lameness hazard like an e-cig in my house, though. Prescription opioids to heroin would be a good comparison, too, though the government and scientists should research the issue more so we know whether vaping is a "gateway".

Also: one does not "accidentally" purchase $1300-worth of games on Steam, it takes a very, very itchy trigger finger.
