Who is Luther Strange, you might ask? Why, he was appointed to replace Racist Beauregard Sessions.
Why are they investigating him? Because before he was appointed a senator, he was the state AG, and he held off the state's impeachment proceedings against the Governor by promising to conduct his own investigation, which never happened.
And to keep people from SEEING how goddamn disgusting they are. Although, since every gross nasty bastard in the government is hiding behind the devout Christian shield, it's become more of a tell than a disguise.
