Don't forget they also vote against anything that messes with their property taxes like schools because that "Government is trying to steal my money!"

I hardly ever watch the teevee machine but the few times I have turned it on recently I've seen Ward ads against McCain. It's shocking to hear such turrabull things said about Mr. Maverick by someone not a Demoncrap. I'm starting to get a little hopeful that McCain will lose the primary and that Kirkpatrick will beat crazypants Ward in November but I'm not holding my breath, because Arizona.

I lived outside Sun City in Surprise for a few years. It could have been just the circles of olds around me but NY & NJ were popular places.

The ex's mother and her family live in Snottsdale. They called everyone who retired there snowbirds.

Extremely narrow education. Premed, med school, specialization, internship, residency, post-doc. A fair number have not read a novel or a work of history since sophomore year. Plus, an undue degree of deference is paid.
