WTF; I've always had my prescriptions filled at Walgreens, and buy a ton of other things when I'm there picking up my drugs.Guess I'll have to start a search for an alternative pharmacy. I will let them know once I do, and tell them why they're not getting my business anymore.
Walgreens also does Medicare fraud--on one of my prescriptions, if I go I and pay cash for it, it costs $62 but they bill Medicare for $95,a 50% markup. The inflated prices also count towards the "donut hole" and shorten the time my copays go up so, a double whammy
It would be a lot more innocuous if it were "just" that. But it's not -- and part of the reason the harm is so insidious is that people continue to minimize it.
I could be wrong, but, (as a Newark-er born-n-bred), that Walgreen's (in the pitcher above), is occupying the old Opera House in Newark, DE. It's a damn shame, and a beautiful old building. (I can't stress this enough-- Newark, Delaware, used to have a f**king opera house!!)
Some Safeways and other Supermarkets have Pharmacies. I think Costco’s Pharmacies aren’t necessarily member only. And if there’s a decent Pharmacy in a farther away town, they might ship by mail, maybe Costcos too. Kaiser does that for me.
I have about had it with everything being "woke". If only I could lob a rotten tomato at an R every time I hear the word.
