I was under the impression a responsible gun owner locked their weapons in a safe, meaning in the instance of a home invasion the intruder has the advantage. But: what does he have that someone would want to break into his house for? A 55" tv?
I wonder if the increase is due to the stand your ground laws themselves, or if states which approve such stupidity just have more armed morons shooting each other? Not sure it matters but just curious.
