Can't we skip the falderal and crush John Yoo's testicles? With votes, of course.

Correction, the entire time they had other people hurting people. Yoo and the rest of these war criminals never leave the cushy confines of their lovely corner offices.

William Miller, Barry Goldwater's running mate in 1964, was a prosecuting attorney at the Nuremburg Trials. He would be appalled at how conservatives and Republicans have devolved. (His daughter is Stephanie Miller, a progressive radio host, btw.)

If it gets his father to explain why his son is such a dick I don't see why not. Yoo has already given his legal okee-dokee to such methods, he's agreed to it in principle.

Corporations are people also too so Ted Scuz will appoint Golum Sachs. Bonus: so long as we bail them out they won't die and need to be replaced.

What really drives me crazy about worthless fucking scumbags like John Yoo, Dick Cheney and the rest-and the legions of bloodthirsty cheerleaders they have, who swallow wholeheartedly the abject fiction that "Torture kept us safe!" and continue to support this sort of murderous BULLSHIT!-is that they simply cannot comprehend the fundamental disconnect between what the United States IS, or is supposed to be, and what THEY think are legitimate tactics to defend it. If you are willing to imprison people without trial for an indefinite period, torture them, slaughter HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of innocent people using the pretext of "self defense" (If someone tries to punch me in the nose and I block the punch and restrain him from hitting me again-that is self defense. If I beat him to death and then read the address off of his driver's license so that I can go to his house, burn it down and kill his family as they run outside-that is no longer self defense) and throw the civil liberties of your own citizens out the window, all the while treating the entire exercise like an all you can eat buffet of corruption and nest feathering for your cronies, then you are completely destroying and negating everything the United States is supposed to stand for. Every God Damn thing. And you are ultimately no better than any other nasty regime that tortured, murdered and oppressed people because they felt threatened. No better at all. That is the toxic legacy that Dick Cheney, Dubya and John Yoo have left behind. I am not religious at all, but this seems like an appropriate place for the following quotation from Thomas Jeffferson: "Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just: that his justice cannot sleep forever."

Nah, they don't believe torture kept us safe. They just say that. They believe TORTURE IS FUN. Fun to do, and fun to think about other people doing to yet other people you don't like. The difference is, we libtarts know that it's FUN to think about torturing scumbags, yet we don't actually want it to happen, and we're not even allowed to suggest it in these non-existent comments.

And yet strongly advising to frog-march John Yoo up the steps of the Hague is considered intemperate and I honestly don't know why.

I call that advice common sense and decency.~

Fred Hiatt of the Washington Post is constantly granting these war criminals op-ed space to voice their viciousness.

We'll pencil all that stuff in between our 20th Benghazi hearing and our 15th Planned Parenthood investigation. Priorities and all that.

I know! This isn't even a "progressive timeshare" here.
