Ugh.Similar to cletus below, I think the House should be expanded (same reason--reps based on population--urbanites are severely unrepresented) PLUS the US SC needs to be 13 justices, 1 for each appellate court (there are 13 US courts of appeals). It's not packing, it's *supposed* to be 1 SCJ for each appellate court.
You REALLY think Republicans can come back from this? They're being caught in real time suppressing the vote and engaging in blatant voter fraud--not to mention destroying the economy and killing people. There may be a PR guy out there who'll take them as clients, but hell, they may as well be Jeffrey Dahmer.
I cannot bring myself to listen. I was wondering, in honor of pregnancy loss awareness month, if any senator has asked this alleged human being what she thinks about locking women and girls up when they have a miscarriage. Which, by the way, still happens, and not just in the Bible belt.

Elections aren't that important to him or the GOP at this point (or this year, at least), now that the judiciary has been well and truly f-ed.40 yrs is dedicated work, summed up gerrymandered statehouses, an f-ed up judiciary, giant tax cut for the rich who don't need them, and an openly racist presdident (though, they prob didn't expect >quite< so much Executive grifting).

I can't speak for ChumpsForTrump, but I saw that post as saying they would TRY to come back from 2020. They will probably try to repeal Obamacare just like every year since it passed in 2009, but they haven't pulled that off yet, either, and asking "so, who picked the justices who finally overturned the ACA?" if that happens in November isn't going to help McTurtle reclaim the senate ...
Moscow Mitch is not throwing the election. He's just written Biff off as a loser. He's trying to protect the gains they've made in the courts as well as trying not to lose the Senate. That's all that matters to him. if he stays as majority leader, he can sit back and make sure Congress does nothing for another two years. If by some miracle Biff cheats his way to a win, well, there will be more judges retiring whose seats can be filled with unqualified hacks.

Throw up enough 'patriotism', and fear of 'Socialism' (and other mis-used words), and they'll be roaring back.
