The journos are saying what we're saying: WTF is wrong with Democratic leadership failing to hammer home EVERY DAY that Trump fucked up the economy & is destroying everyone's financial security? And that NO ONE voted for the cultural fascism that his underlings have imposed!
I don't see that arrogant, lazy bum Chuck Schumer's name mentioned, but he's the one mainly responsible for blowing the opportunity to swing that hammer.
Now Rand Paul and Ron Johnson are accusing Dr. Fauci of killing all the babies — saying the COVID vaccine caused miscarriages in 80 percent of pregnancies —
When the fuck is some one going to call them out on these easily disprovable bullshit claims? Its infuriating.
They have texts Fauci sent where he said that, theoretically, the covid vaccine could cause miscarriages. Obviously, to anyone who thinks about things, this theoretical risk was weighed against the benefits of telling everyone to get the vaccine and it was decided to go ahead with telling everyone to get it. But to people who surround themselves with propaganda, that sounds like saying one thing in private and the opposite in public.
Anthony Anderson substitute-hosted for Jimmy Kimmel last night. He opined on PAB's hiding act:
“That’s the same way he used to get onto Epstein’s plane.”
“Now, I’m no security expert, but if I was trying to find Donald Trump, a catering truck is the first place I’d look. Next time, hide his [expletive] in a bookmobile."
Guess who turns 18 today? In cat years, Hobbs!! is 88 and he's acting like every bit of it now. Below is a small selection of pics of him from over the years, the first being the most recent.
Art Dong was in my preschool class. Haven't thought about him in years. His parents drove an AMC Gremlin that was an obscene color of orange. They moved to Peoria in the summer.
My only experience with Cleveland was as an interim stop on The Great College Road Trip of 2005, when I was taking my son around the country to visit potential post-secondary educational venues. We started at Indiana U, and the next stop was Rochester, NY which is a little more than what I wanted to tackle in one day. So we decided that we could not be going right past Cleveland and NOT stop at the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. So we did that, and now we've done it, and got the t-shirt and don't have to do it again. It was... fine, but if I had it to do over, I'd probably have opted for... something else. The did have a big Tommy exhibition mounted at the time, so that was cool.
And I MUST commend the city on their traffic handling. The day we went to the HOF, there was a Browns (pre-season) and an Indians (2005, remember) game going on at the same time and we *still* managed to find a parking space (at double the usual rate, we discover next day going by the same deck) and were able to safely navigate the pedestrian portion of the program along with a few thousand other visitors with very little hassle. Impressively little hassle. Nearly hassle-free. I even let my 17-year-old take over the driving the next morning. I had come to town with pretty low expectations (this is a city where the river used to routinely *catch fire*, after all) but left with a much different impression.
I have to admit, I did not expect this story to have this much momentum . . . but here's what doesn't make sense about their version . . .
Trump claimed last night that the *Secret Service* was telling him to get off the plane and he was just obeying them . . . but even with this self-centered presidency, the Secret Service would have never left the others on AF1 without telling them they were in potential danger (and of course, giving them a chance to *get off the fucking plane*) . . .
As usual with Trump, one of those hated 'leakers' will have to tell us what really transpired . . . as he loves to say, stay tuned 🌚 . . .

It absolutely WAS the first time this happened.
The press pool has for decades willingly accepted the risk of traveling with the president.
WITH the president.
Never before has a president secretly evacuated a plane and left his staff and press as targets.

The entitlement is off the charts on this one. The press being on AF1 is not a right. It is a courtesy. The SecServ is there to protect the president, not them.
This wasn't the first time something like this happened, and it wont be the last. x.com/svdate/status/…
I'm not going to be upset for them on their behalf. They've been enabling Trump and making excuses for him since he came down the escalator. He's been calling them the enemy of the people and getting his crowds to boo them for years. They shouldn't be surprised.
making notes on things to do with sweetheart in pittsburgh next month, that’s going in.
my reaction to adrenaline is not getting milder as i age: if this keeps up i’m gonna need sedation for dental operations. i can gut it out but even with just one hot shot and the rest straight novocaine, that was NOT fun
comes in the novocaine, to get it to work faster and keep you from bleeding all over. i get ONE hot shot and the rest have to be just the drug. even then, body has most of a panic attack the whole time.
I pay a premium to get the extra sedation at my dentist. I am a BABBY about people being up in my space, especially in my mouf so when I broke my front teeth and needed to go to the dentist for the first time in nearly 20 years, I looked in the phone book and found an ad that said, "We cater to fraidy cats" and knew that was my place.
Mike Lindell, the CEO and founder of MyPillow, is refusing to concede Minnesota’s Republican gubernatorial primary.
Lindell, who was endorsed in the race by President Donald Trump, lost to state Rep. Lisa Demuth, the speaker of the Minnesota House of Representatives.
With more than 95% of the expected vote in, Demuth led Lindell 43% to 32%.
“I’m down by 20,000 votes with 277,00 votes left to count,” Lindell said as votes were being counted on Tuesday night. “Now, would you give up if you got 277,000 left to count?
Moreover, Lindell suggested something nefarious was afoot.
“Lindell will not concede,” Swanson said. “Claims there are anomalies in the numbers that his teams will be looking into overnight.”
The Washington Post is reporting that The Asshole plans to spend $900 million on WH construction, a significant increase to prior estimates. Most to be taxpayer funded. Priorities!

Love that birdie! It's wearing my favorite color!
Oh great, now we'll have to hear about "commie" finches.
Hell, I thought it was Commie Chameleons....
They're sneaky, always coming and going.
Purty!
Red faced, but probably not from embarrassment like the rest of us.
All we have around here are scarlet and house finches… boring.
I like them. They have a very sweet tweet
Lovely plumage!
Pretty birb!
He knows damn well it's not true, but he's so used to lying he can't help himself.

Sorry, journalists, but I don't believe you'd cover Democrats if they were trying to do that.
They haven't and they won't since every venue has gone right wing and owned by rwnj rich fucks.

The press never will.
They can say whatever comes to mind, because they KNOW they will never get called out on anything.

It's the same argument they made about the vaccine causing heart problems. It turned out that NOT getting the vaccine had an even greater risk.

Chris Geidner has some pertinent questions about when Trump left all the reporters on the plane that was under threat, as bait.
Heh heh. I've got an analogy in answer:
Bond: "Not exactly our finest hour."
Zukovsky: "Still, ruthless people. They got what they deserved."

My problem with the 'woke one' stuff is that it accepts the right's language and framing. No good ever comes of that.
It's just the "defund the police"-was-a-bad-position redux.
Which ignores so much context from that time because people want a simple explanation.
No good or truth is coming from corporate narratives, period.
morning, sinners

how the hell are we?
note that there's scam sites that try to sell you Randyland tickets; ignore ignore. It is free (donations accepted).
I don't think Eddie Money got much from those tickets....
Why are you getting adrenaline for dental procedures?
comes in the novocaine, to get it to work faster and keep you from bleeding all over. i get ONE hot shot and the rest have to be just the drug. even then, body has most of a panic attack the whole time.
Huh, I did not know that…I have severe dental anxiety, personally, only benzos touches that…nitrous only works for that at certain concentrations
Severe dental anxiety haver here. Hugs to you. It's truly awful.
I hate doctors, too. They are so abusive and disrespectful.

Sue, sue, and Keep Sueing, Mikey! Gum up the works, see if we care.
"Nefarious! Nefarious!"
Lindell needs a nap. In a mental institution. At the proper level of care.
A rubber room at the puzzle factory?
The press should literally stop covering him. He lost. It doesn't matter if he concedes. He lost.
Of course he refuses to concede.
The election happened in the real world, which Lindell hasn't inhabited for many many years..
Real world, you mean the “NPCs” in Elmo’s nazi kiddie porn?

You mean we should "defund"! YOU RADICAL!
Still illegal without Congress. I hope half of that building collapses.
I hope they leave it EXACTLY like it is for the rest of my life as a reminder of what the MAGAs are.
The half he's squatting in!
"Spending" as a euphemism for stealing, nice job WaPo.
It will be amazing if there's anything left in the treasury.
Thanks, Rebecca, for the lovely time in Pittsburgh. Great company, great food, great vibes. I'm the jerk waving to the camera in the last pic.
