Our favorite-not-favorite rocker and gun enthusiast turns 65 today! We here at Wonkette would like to wish Ted Nugent a most happy birthday (or should we say Merry Birthday, because December? We don't want to get yelled at for using the wrong word here.) Since it is Mr. Nugent's 65th birthday, we are sure that he enjoy sucking on the teat of the Nobummer gubmint and begin using government-run Medicare. We wish him nothing but the best of healthcare -- you're welcome, Ted, for using our tax dollars to subsidize your rock-n-roll lifestyle. Let's take a trip down memory lane, shall we?
No new snark from me, but I did find this thoughtful interpretation of "Cat Scratch Fever" from some site called songmeanings.com quite illuminating.
i personally beleive that this song is a testament to ted nugents love for felines from a very young age and regardless of how much he ages over the years, his passion for cats is still strong regardless of a negative situation he was faced with when he got sick from getting scratched by one [sic, obvs]
Most of the other posts are by people with really filthy minds.
I have a present for Ted and I need an address for this case of diapers.
Depends.
Sorry. Could. Not. Resist.

It is, but mostly because he's around 30 there but has the body of an athletic sexagenarian?
At this rate you'll be out of the red soon!
