It's Caturday, so each of us got two sliced Brazil nuts in the bowl, for all the selenium we need for the week. The flowery green tea was already made and just needed heating. Now adored and adorable husband Meccalopolis is making coffee, and we'll have our elitist avocado toast on whole grain pita because we didn't buy a loaf of bread. Good day, beloved Wonketteers. I love and appreciate you all and I bless us all with love, health, peace, and grace.
Please, please stay safe. Wear a mask or two, wash your hands, sanitize when you cannot wash and let the sanitizer dry completely, stop touching your face, take Vitamin D, get a booster shot six months after your last, and catch up on any other vaccinations you need, avoid indoor and crowded outdoor gatherings and when you must meet, remove masks only to eat, drink, and take quick photos, and stay the fuck away from me and everyone with whom you do not share a roof. In this case did DeGeneres' PR person contact CNN with a story pitch? Is some entertainment editor out there trawling for stories? Did DeGeneres' team pay CNN to run it?
I was never a fan of 'Ellen' and never understood her appeal but then I have also never watched "The View", so I am not in the target demographic. Are people actually missing 'Ellen'?

Ellen is a monster. Also, she moved to England, specifically because she hates Trump. So I don't know who she thinks is gonna be sympathetic to her. This is absolutely her agent trying to raise her profile...but why here? Why not try to get comedy specials in the UK or Europe? People may not know how bad she is there.
Her sitcom was on air in the UK around that time that there was a fashion for sitcoms named for the main actor, but I don't think it did very well. From what I remember it was quickly shunted from primetime on Friday to midday during the week. I don't think we ever got her chat show.
I liked her sitcom long ago. Never watched her daytime show. As far as I can tell, all she has been doing lately is ads with Portia for cosmetic products or something.
