Sea Monkeys are threatened, sadly, because the Great Salt Lake in Utah is dying, and causing terrible heavy metal poisoning by it, too. Artemia salina are these incredible arthropods that undergo *CRYPTOBIOSIS* (allowing them rehydration life from a state of “death”). My theory is these are Western Interior Seaway adaptations from ponding (the shallow sea that filled the interior of N. Am, Texas, OK, etc. was never well-connected with the ocean and retreated slowly, allowing for massive concentration of ocean halides (salts)).
Clara Bow has a surprisingly uplifting life story after she left Hollywood. I love her lovely elastic features which made her really good at expressing her characters in the Silent days.
