As a rich man, there us literally nothing more he can have, do, or accuse someone of. Being President doesn't give him anything more than being in thrall to Putin (we all know Drumpf's a bottom- and a pushy, whiny one at that), so is being Putin's bitch what this us really all about?

1) Pelosi and Schumer don't REALLY want to stop Trump, they would have done all sorts of things if they had (send the Sergeant at Arms to arrest him, shut down government funding, IMPEACH BETTER), so what's the point of voting Dem anyway2) Biden, Pelosi and Schumer will just cave if Trump makes a coup, because they're scared of civil war.3) All these people we've talked to say they just won't vote for Biden because he offers them no hope, and no, they don't care about the fascism/riots/COVID because they honestly don't have any faith that Biden would do differently or better.4) If Trump's going to coup, why wait to vote? Straight to armed revolution now when he least expects it!
The question is NOT "if Biden wins, will the GOP recognize him?" It is: "if Trump loses but declares a coup, who will continue to recognize him?" The Army brass hate him. Most of the career civil servants hate him.
My guess is that he would have enough fascist cops and bureaucrats who would "defend him as the real president" that it would mean the beginning a civil war. But I don't think he could win because there's no way he has a majority. His only hope is that the Dems cave because they'd prefer fascism to a civil war.
The GOP definition of "patriot" is "loyal to the Party". The modern GOP has adopted Big Louie's definition of his country, with one small change: "L'etat, c'est nous". Where "nous" most definitely is not any of us.
PBS and NPR made their decision, or rather had their decision made for them, when W Bush installed his apparatchik at the top. They have been on that side of history ever since, although they were nice and polite about it.
