Jr didn't get around to updating the mailing address for his ballot, so we received it here in WA. Whatevs, we'll just mail it to him in MD. (Mrs. C wanted to put together a little Halloween care package anyway, so we'll just include it in that box.)

Karl Wallinger, a member of The Waterboys and the founding member and leader of the band World Party, was born on this day in 1957. Here's Karl on keyboards in The Waterboys' video for their glorious song "The Whole Of The Moon":

Protester Seated Right Behind JD Vance’s Rally Podium Heckles VP Over Epstein Files

Vance was in the middle of pontificating about the “corrupt, far-left cartel,” when a man seated right behind him stood and began shouting about releasing the Epstein files.

“God bless our children!” the man repeatedly shouted, as security made a beeline for the heckler and escorted him off the stage.

Those two are involved with deals to take over Ukrainian farmland, river barge transport, and that stupid minerals deal. I have no idea if any of those schemes are still viable.

And really, this whole thing goes back to 1991. Kravchuk and Kuchma tried to make sure only their cronies got to keep all formerly public assets. As Putin himself did in Russia. The only good thing to come out of it was that Kissinger and Associates beclowned themselves and got nothing for their efforts to steal whatever wasn't nailed down.

I don't think Witkoff and Kushner are as clever as Kissinger, and Kissinger couldn't hold his own with all the vipers in that part of the world.

MRK's avatar

Witkoff and Kushner can keep talking to whoever they like, they keep forgetting to talk to the people who actually matter.

On Friday the Fulvous Fuckwad had a preliminary environmental impact report released while stating he didn't give a shit as to what it said. The report was over the whitewashing of the Eisenhauer Bldg so it would match the White House. What he omitted, most likely intentionally, what will happen to the Treasury Bldg and buildings in Lafayette Square.

My money is on the Swamp Monster cosplaying as POTUS will proceed to whitewash the Treasury Bldg considering it, also, is adjacent to the White House.

As for Lafayette Square, you can bet the ranch he has intentions of desecrating at least one building: St. John's Episcopal Church. It is among the most glaring examples of the Undeveloper-in-Chief's most embarrassing moments during his first crack of ruining the country. Who can forget his ordering the National Guard to clear the street of protesters supporting George Floyd. Tear Gas and pepper balls used on citizens, clergy*, and journalists expressing their 1A rights so he could cross and stand in front of St John's Episcopal Church for a photo op... replete with holding a copy of the New Testament upside down.

(* Reminders:

> "Leaders from The Episcopal Church have condemned the reported use of tear gas and projectiles to clear clergy and protesters from the area around St. John’s Episcopal Church, across the street from the White House, so President Donald Trump [sic] could use it for an unauthorized photo op on June 1.

Trump [sic] “used a church building and the Holy Bible for partisan political purposes. This was done in a time of deep hurt and pain in our country, and his action did nothing to help us or to heal us,” Presiding Bishop Michael Curry said in a statement." https://episcopalnewsservice.org/2020/06/02/episcopal-leaders-express-outrage-condemn-tear-gassing-protesters-for-trump-photo-op-at-washington-church/

--and--

> "The plaza between St. John's Church and Lafayette Park was full of people nonviolently protesting police brutality late Monday afternoon when U.S. Park Police and National Guard troops, with the use of tear gas, suddenly started pushing them away for no apparent reason.

And then it became clear.

President Trump [sic] wanted to walk from the White House through the park to the Episcopal church." https://www.wwno.org/npr-news/2020-06-01/peaceful-protesters-tear-gassed-to-clear-way-for-trump-church-photo-op
