Republican (!!) state senator Doug Brannon in South Carolina is going to sponsor a bill to remove the Rebel flag. He was friends with Senator Pinkney, and said today that "he hadn't had the balls" before to get rid of the flag, but now he does. I sent him an "attaboy" thank you and if anybody else wants to, here's the address.

In some countries, your dream of executing gay people remains a reality, and even in the U.S., vigilantes kill LGBT people regularly.
