My roommate in college probably owned it in about 1984. I drove her around more than she drove that car. We almost died when the electric system failed on I-405 during a hot afternoon in rush hour. She kept fixing it because "They're so inexpensive to work on." I had a terrible Toyota Corolla SR5 Liftback (because I'm fancy) and I saved all sorts of money because it just never broke down.
At least until SCOTUS guts OSHA and workplace safety rules.

My parents met with members of that community back in the 90s
I had one of those too. That one I did get passed to me from grandfather. '83 I think
