This weekend on SNL it will be Havana Club.

It would have worked out much better if instead of a furtive lunge for the bottle like a drunk at the end of the bar - or a broke girl snatching someone else's drink off a tray - he had just reached over, taken a sip, toasted the camera with a slight lift of the bottle, and then returned to what he was saying.

Bottom Line: Once again, after Ole Crazy Eyes and poor Bobby Jindel, we have a GNoP'er who clearly isn't ready for Prime Time.

Aaaaaaiiiiiyyyy!! My eyes! My eyes! People are comparing Nixon favorably with some miserable minor GOP hack.

Yeah, no wonder we can't have nice things: we'd just forget where we put them since we have lost the ability to remember anything,

"because the rest of the world is too fuckin' big for him to understand."

NOW you figure this out?

Also, completely ignoring the speech he was allegedly rebutting.

It was written before the SOTU, and Rubio was probably sweating over the fact that this was going to be so painfully obvious.

Rand's going to have to up his game if he wants to top this bag of stupid: Our debt is more than $16 trillion; the entire 2012 Pentagon budget is $553 billion, less than 19 percent of our federal budget. And foreign aid? That was about a tenth the size of defense spending. You could eliminate them both and hardly make a dent in the debt. So let’s hope his budget is devoid of gimmicks and addresses the real driver of the debt, entitlement spending.

Clearly aware of Piyush's faceplant, he was thinking "don't fuck up... don't fuck up... I'm thirsty... don't fuck up... damn I'm thirst... don't fuck up"

He was just playing the SOTU drinking game with himself.

I can dig it.

I'm still waiting for some careful analysis of Rand Paul's response (that I neither saw nor heard).

More careful than this piece of crap, anyways.

alright fine. mature.

my assessment of marco rubio's rebuttal was that he delivered a stale, immediately forgettable speech lacking specifics and completely ignoring the loss republicans suffered in 2012. indeed he doubled down on the very message that served mitt romney so poorly in november.

does anyone know how our 4th estate is responding?
