Hero Pro-Life Arsonist Guy Apparently Just Wanted To Save Fetuses For Later Use

So let's say you are super against abortion, so you decide to light a whole bunch of women's clinics on fire, to save the babbies. But, after your prison bit for that (a cool dozen years in the federal pen) you roll out and you put your life together because you saw the error of your ways and turned to nonviolence and the teachings of the Dalai Lama. Oh wait no you do not because you are a horrible person that burns down women's clinics, so you become even more awful and start sexually assaulting children. But first, let's recap your illustrious arson career, Mr. Curtis Anton Beseda of Washington state!

According to the Everett Herald, Beseda, an unemployed roofer “frequently picketed outside the Feminist Women’s Health Center in Everett. He set three nighttime fires there in 1983 and 1984, eventually forcing the women’s health clinic to close. He also was convicted of an arson at a Bellingham clinic.”

Well, you can't make an omelet without breaking eggs, and you can't save babbies without burning a few buildings down, right? He seems super nice. He was sentenced to 20 years for that, but got out in 12, probably thanks to some softheaded liberal judge, and then took another fun-filled trip back to prison when he violated his parole and then went on to generate a series of other offenses, probably for Jesus. 

In 1997 he was taken back into custody on a parole violation and rereleased in 2003, court documents show.

Since then, he has accrued three misdemeanor convictions for criminal trespassing and fourth-degree assault, according to court documents.

The (Everett) Herald reported that Beseda was accused of attempted arson in Snohomish and ordered to undergo a mental-health evaluation in 2004, although he was ultimately acquitted of reckless burning.

Police also say that Beseda was banned from the church and school grounds of the Immaculate Conception Church in Everett after he was accused of trespassing and obstructing, according to The Herald.

Need we even mention that this guy is considered a hero/martyr of the anti-choice cause? Of course we don't. So arson, prison, out of prison, more prison, criminal trespassing, an assault, and more arson. How you gonna top that, dude? Oh, cool, you're going to attempt to sexually assault a kid.

On Saturday, a man believed to be Beseda approached an 11-year-old girl who was waiting for her father outside a restroom located in a Snohomish, WA Fred Meyer grocery store. Pressing his body against hers and grinding his pelvis into her backside, the man fondled her buttocks and thighs while whispering in her ear that he would buy her the drink she was carrying if she would just follow him outside.

Fearing for her safety, the girl ran to her father, who flagged down a police officer. The man believed to be Beseda fled the store, but not before his image was captured on multiple security cameras.

The police threw up some surveillance camera footage to see whodunit, and literally everyone in the city appears to have recognized this guy as the doer.

At least three people said they were “100 percent sure” it was Beseda, including an employee at an Everett restaurant he was said to frequent; a person who went to college with him; and a former high-school classmate, according to Snohomish County prosecutors.

One of the ways that the college acquaintance recognized him was that Besada apparently has some super-distinctive mannerisms.

That person pointed out that Beseda has “unique mannerisms” and compulsions that force him to walk in and out of doorways before entering or leaving a building. Police observed the man in the surveillance video doing exactly that before leaving the Fred Meyer store; walking out, then walking back in and leaving.

Pro-tip, horrible guy: if you're going to be a serial criminal of awfulness, maybe work on that little tic.

Dude is on the run right now but since he does not sound like a mastermind where avoiding arrest is concerned, hopefully he'll be taking another all expenses paid trip back to the hoosegow soon.
