The city of Cleveland is doing its part to keep the party going (with the convention lasting from July 18-21) and has allowed bars and restaurants to apply under a new state law for a waiver to serve alcohol and remain open until 4 a.m. during the relevant days. In May, the city released a list of establishments that had applied for the convention stretch, and the roster was of course dotted with the names of strip clubs. http://www.thedailybeast.co...

We have plenty of room in Columbus, but alas, that's 2 hours away from where you need to be. But if you're passing through & need to stop, lemme know!

yea, I work just down the road from you at Case. I'm pretty sure no one is getting across the river from the west side for the duration of this mess. And why really would anyone want to? I know a few people who are working the convention and some who are volunteering. not enough Tubmans in the world.

I stopped going to the John C. Campbell Folk School, even though I hugely enjoy it and they are a refreshing bastion of liberalism and art, because I refuse to spend one thin dime in bigot states (other than the one I live in, sadface).
