Yup.And yet many of them will claim they care about issues just like this.If you voted for a third party candidate or stayed home and encouraged others to do the same, you don't care about any of those issues.
Its almost like the administration and especially Trumples are singling out brown people. What is the reasoning I wonder if not racism and pure hatred of non-whites? How does America gain by kicking out 3/4 of a million people essentially creating a whole new round of immigrants that will just try to come back home.
You know a lot of these DACA kids are also known as, Trump Org. employees. The Trump's can cage babies and separate families, there really is no low to low for them, no mean to mean, no inhumanity to cruel. America has lost her appeal under these goons, I wouldn't ever intentionally immigrate here at these times.
Never forget, we're weirdos. We hang out on a snarky political blog and have in-depth discussions. How many surveys show things like people not being able to name all three branches of government? Trying to explain something abstract like federal judgeships is, honestly, just beyond a lot of people's current level of civic education, no matter how smart they are or how many degrees they have. It doesn't help that the only thing that ever gets covered in the mainstream news is presidential politics. Not much about Congress. Even less about state and local politics. People only pay attention to the president because that's the only thing they have time to focus on, and that's the only information that's easy to access. Do a survey. Ask everyone in the room you're in if they've even heard of these cases. I would lay good odds you'll find at most 2 other people.
Keep an eye on the Canadian Supreme Court. If they suspend the "safe third country" agreement, get ready to start up a new Underground Railroad. That would be the best bet.
I visited the Freedom Center in Cincinnati this weekend (which is so amazing and sobering, btw), so that's probably why the whole idea of hiding "fugitives" is in my mind. And b/c everything is terrible right now with Trump et al.
The Dreamers absolutely should be allowed to stay, but there's a reasonably solid case to be made that DACA was not legal. This is why we need to. move the House and (especially) Senate to the left, so Congress can legislate the solution.
Thanks Hillary haters, non voters and third party voters. You did this every bit as much as Trump voters. Our system is only democrat or republican. Your frivolous attitude towards reality may make you feel good at the time; but it also elected Donald Trump.
That's "Jubilee Roberts, Stolen Gorsuch and Kegs Kavanaugh."
That or who think folks like me are expendable for mah purity, revolution etc.

At that point, there wasn't much precedent to go on.

Hawaiian pizza is one of Canada's greatest contributions to world cuisine, and no troublemaking presidents of Iceland can change that.

Five will get you ten that they can't explain that stance in any detail.
I'd also wager a whole sack of magic beans that they read it somewhere on the internet.
They asked me that when I touched down at LAX.
He has a set of templates for when he wants to say pigshit-ignorant, hateful things about people he knows nothing about.
Each other?
