The only reason Rahm Emanuel became mayor of Chicago is cause people were asleep as soon as they saw what a realtor turd he was we kicked him out of office. Two has been losers.

What is so preposterous to me is that any of these people get on national tv and start lecturing Democrats on how they should be more “culturally normal” right now. Really?? Did they not see the racist AF video of the Obamas? How about the one where the president dropped feces on liberals? Or the SpongeBob videos treating this war like it’s a video game. Are we pretending that’s “culturally normal???” Both of these old men can kick rocks.

What Dems should be talking about is this president and his entire administration and the whole Republican Party who have decided the Constitution is optional, Congress can be ignored, funds can be impounded, the DOJ can be turned into the president’s personal legal team, he can show up in the Epstein files a million times and not be deposed, alienate us from our NATO allies, start wars that cost $1 billion/day but deny Americans affordable healthcare, childcare, SNAP benefits and free school lunches, hold back FEMA aid from states with governors he doesn’t like, send ICE to terrorize our streets, block investigations when citizens are executed for exercising their 1st amendment rights and attempt to make it harder for people (mostly women, mostly Dems) to vote via the SAVE Act, the attempt to redraw maps, the screwing around with the USPS and I could go on.

They should be running on tickets promising to get us out of whatever godforsaken wars we may be in by the time this is over, repair our relationships with our allies, reconfigure the budget so they can offer universal healthcare, affordable childcare, parental leave that matches other developed countries, make Medicaid whole again, protect Social Security, pass gun control legislation/reinstate the mental health initiatives meant to prevent gun violence at schools and add to them, and address kitchen table issues for working class families, like a livable wage. For real, not words.

So tired of people treating this administration or this current version of the GOP like they have a single leg to stand on. Eggs are still expensive in case no one has gone to the grocery store lately. This administration is NOT doing well on the economy.

We get it. You like him. We all like useless artifacts, sometimes. It happens.

His relevance has ended. He hasn’t evolved. His need for attention far surpasses his value to the conversation.

Those pencil dicks are obsessed with "protecting" Israel.

Carville is as awful and useless as Chuck Schumer.

I AGREE they are both so irrelevant. AMERICA needs to find a whole new team of politcal leaders with strength to lead a modern vision and ideas that reach all the people, no more old farts, no more billionaires. Newsom is NOT the one.

LIZ CHENEY came very close to ending Trump, then Americans voted for him. American republicans betrayed her, America has forgotten the only one who truly stood up to him. No one should forget that. A woman, a Republican who had the courage to fight for Americans on both sides of the aisle, all of America. There is no one now.

It’s not about who we are against.

It is ALL about what we are for.

they want the dems to split into factions so they can feel better about themselves and the nasty ass factions they're dealing with

James Carville. Rahm Emanuel. David Axelrod.

The last presidential election Axelrod won was 2012.

The last one Emanuel won was 2008.

The last one Carville won was 1996.

It's been 30 goddamn years and he's been yammering away for far too long.

So yes, make them all go into a retirement home and STFU.

Tithonus was a Trojan prince beloved by Eos, goddess of the Dawn. Seeking to be together forever, Eos asked Zeus to make Tithonus immortal, but she forgot to ask for eternal youth. As a result, Tithonus grew incredibly old, frail, and babbling without ever dying. Eventually he turns into a grasshopper (or often a cicada.)

I will let you draw your own parallels because I believe in the fair application of ad hominems against useless old white men who should shut the fuck up.

How about not reporting about these has-beens and focusing on upcoming progressives?

James Carville and Rahm Emmanuel are two of the reasons I left the Democratic Party to join the ranks of the unaffiliated.

OT: a sober reckoning of why Crockett lost her primary. You may not agree with all the points, but it is still worth the read:

Thank you, Mark. This was a helpful read. I was pulling for Crockett, although I did notice that the appeals for funding were getting desperately frequent.
