So was moderately successful when she met her husband she had some curtain thing being sold through infomercials. She got put on that “lifestyle brand” thing like a Food Network Martha Stewart through her husband. She was entertaining enough but that doesn’t mean she should be telling anyone about food her “recipes” are just opening jars honestly there are far better cooking shows that were aired around the same time as hers like Good Eats that were far better at explaining about food and food preparation than the best thing about the meal is cocktail time with lushy Aunt Sandy.

I haven't watched one episode of " Semi Homemade w/ Sandra Lee, " so I'm on the fence about the show Just first five mins or so.I do know that I'd like to read her memoir. It got a lot of great reviews.I googled her last night and saw an image of her in a full-on Cher regalia black feathered headdress with a sequined and gauze applique cocktail sheath. Lol.lol.lol.It was somewhat jarring. Ditto the very, VERY platinum highlights and all - white frosting cake photo op on the Food Network. She doesn't appear to do her media campaign half-way though apparently 70 percent of her recipes on the show are from pre-prepared food. The ad endorsements alone...I saw that she had some decent recipes up on the Food network. Proof is in the pudding, tho', right ?We can only taste so much with our eyes.

Well, give (some of) those students some credit: lots of them come to study, and never go back. Lots of my friends from grad school (late 80s) were in that camp. And since. A friend I met at my last job, his accent was good enough I figured he was from LA or Toronto, and turns out, 4yr ago he came to Canada from Shenzen. I doubt he's goin' back. And that's good -- he's driven, skilled, and will do great things.

Interesting. They're as sleazy as Manafort--and one of them even stiffed his workers like Trump does. Birds of a feather, I guess. Thanks!

you keep saying this, but mueller's not going to preserve the rule of law by tearing down the rule of law. the only way any of this is going to work - and by that i mean getting rid of trump - is within the rule of law.

i also want it to be tomorrow and don't know how much more our 'institutions' can absorb.

We have a blind dog neighbor. He's an amazing inspiration, actually. Only problem is other dogs: when they do the play stance, Alfie doesn't know it so they think he a jerk, or aggressive or something. Our Ziggy knows how to deal with him, but the playgroup is a bit of a disaster so most of his walks are solo.

A lot of pundits keep talking about how the pressure is being put on Manafort so that he will "flip."

Seriously, the Mueller Team seems to be so far ahead of the bad guys here, that I wouldn't be surprised if they already know everything that Manafort knows.

I personally think "Bobby Three Sticks" (I do love that moniker - thank you Evan!) couldn't care less if Manafort flips or not - Mueller simply wants to nail that criminal SOB.
