Some of you have been bitching for a while about this here website, TerribleNewsforTerriblePeople.Com, and how it is doing a weird fake-mobile thing intermittently.
I know what it's like in this field. I don't try to take work away from people unless I'm sure they are shysters. I have a good job, lots of us don't.
That said, if you have employed shysters, or need somepixel for a new project, I do take on interesting stuff in my spare time.
But I'm willing to wager there are out of work web people here who deserve it more...
I consider it part of my job to take instructions from virtual luddites, and translate them into actionable tasks. Then to respond with a clearly articulated scope document that outlines exactly how I plan to meet their requests.
In my opinion, the client shouldn't need any expertise. I'm the one who lives and breathes in that world.

maybe so, but it's a small price to pay to never have to deal with the onswipe redirect BS from intense debate back to wonket ever again. It got real old having onswipe send me from ID to touch, where I had to manually relaunch the desktop version then search through hundreds of comments to see who replied to me, instead of letting it automatically take me straight there. I still use m.safari, but not on any site that has ID or Disqus
Currently reading and (not) commenting on my iPad, works ok for me. But I'm using a very old first generation device, so can't validate iOS 7 compatibility.
I really should upgrade to the giant iPads like Faux News Desk use. Then I'd be cool.

just finished iOS 7 not particularly knocked out by the new GUI. wonket still works on m.chrome, still no worky on m.safari

not working on m.safari, works fine on m.chrome where I have it set to force desktop by default
edit- killed not only history but all cookies and data in m.safari
