also too: if he nominates her now and she gets confirmed then if they have to call a new election, she won't be available! he should totally nominate HRC!

Even using a handsome picture of him didn't help. The egomania and lack of empathy behind that smile still shows.

For real, all liberals (and well, all americans really) should quietly move their 401ks into like some bonds or something. Something that is not about to asplode.

OT but I'm sure you have noticed how terrific Obama's tax returns are. And so popular - everyone is talking about how they've been seen by more people than any in history!

We knew this: The United States has fallen from the ranks of what a respected business intelligence provider considers “full democracies” and can now only be considered a “flawed democracy” -- but the reason for the demotion may be a surprise.

As the country’s new president, Donald Trump, sits in the White House and tweets about some sort of federal takeover of Chicago and continues to press false claims of massive voter fraud in an election that he won, it would be easy to assume that the new ranking from the Economist Intelligence Unit is related to his elevation to the White House. “Popular trust in government, elected representatives and political parties have fallen to extremely low levels in the US,” the report says. “This has been a long-term trend and one that preceded the election of Mr. Trump as US president in November 2016. Oh, the Senate won't confirm anyone. McConnell said that they wouldn't vote for anyone until the people had a chance to vote. More people voted against Trump which means they didn't want Trump to get his choice for Supreme Court. McConnell will stand by his statement and refuse to allow any confirmation hearings, right?

Lady MS here: I've seen enough assassination attempts, including the successful one, to beg the differ. This is a foolish woman. Certain there were quite a few agents who felt the same way about Obama (not unlike the subversive NY FBI cell), and each of the earlier occupants, but they kept their own counsel. Hers is a vital and serious job. if her reservations about doing it are deep enough that she feels the need to go public, it's time to look for another line of work.
