A co-worker whom I have never gotten along with sought me out the other day to inform me that he was forsaking a lifetime of voting Dem to support Trump, and also too that he had a big sad because he was being persecuted for his brave stand, weep weeeeep.

I just mumbled something something of course you're voting Trump, because he naturally appeals to cowardly racist cracker-ass shitweasels who complain about paying child support and smiled to myself as he stumbled away, remembering what he had forgotten: that he had performed this exact same song and dance for me--including the "I've always voted Democrat but this time" bit--when Romney was the GOP candidate.

The insecure little dog fart needs the attention that badly.

Anyway, I didn't snatch the fire extinguisher off the wall and cave in his empty skull, so I gave myself a cookie. Haven't run into a single real live Bernie Baby in person yet, so can't say what I'd do then.

I doubt that that is all of the story, sad there isn't a video but we will see as it works out in courtIt figures that you'd react by refusing to believe that Clinton supporters can be as assholish as anyone else's supporters.

And in other news, today I heard my first "the Zika virus is a conspiracy being perpetrate by the CDC" story. Why, I asked? To get funding? To give themselves something else to answer calls about? To give Republicans something to blame on Hillary?

Got no answer. Just a general reply that "the government can't be trusted." Also could only find one reference to it online and and came from a source that is shadier than a back alley in the The Vatican.

Fess up. Lori's really going to vote for Trump in the general.

I don't think you are lazy or stupid, but the story you are telling yourself is. It is the same argument Clinton made in 2008, that the dynamics of the campaign would suddenly be fundamentally different in the general election. It is the same thing Donald Trump is telling Republicans, that they should stop worrying about him beating Clinton against pretty insurmountable negatives and just accept his nomination, that once his nasty general election attacks start she will be unelectable.

Zippy W Pinhead = Donald J Trump? No, you wouldn't want to sound like that guy would you?

You seem to have a hazy memory of 2008. Clinton had been saying all year that Obama was not qualified to be president but John McCain was. That isn't holding back. That is difficult to walk back. But the fundamentals of the race, despite the massive negative campaign against Obama, held.

Clinton will beat Trump. It shouldn't be close. All the polling suggests Sanders would do better, but he hasn't done better in the primaries, so the point is moot. Negative advertising hasn't been effective so far this cycle, why would it change significantly in the next few months? No one has had more negative ads run against them than Trump and his base of support has only grown.

I'd keep him out of New Hampshire and Appalachian states. Their voters might be a little scared of him.

Yeah, as soon as he was the likely nominee they began praising the wonderful centrist Hillary Clinton and warning of the scary black socialist phony celebrity black unqualified Obama. They offered her disaffected supporters a place with McCain. And it didn't change Obama's advantage in the end. If Sanders was winning, they'd be attacking him, but he isn't, so they are still going after Clinton. If the opposite were true, they'd began praising the hard working, pragmatic centrist Clinton and comparing her unfavorably to the crazy, radical socialist Bernie Sanders. In the end, it'd be an unsuccessful attack, as it was with Obama.

I am not saying Obama = Sanders. Obama actually won the nomination. The rest is a fair comparison.

The long 2008 Democratic primary proved to be a boon for efforts to organize in many states in the 2008 general. I am not going to be ahistorical/hysterical and worry too much about Sanders staying in now. If Sanders is on the campaign trail, getting people registered to vote and attacking Trump, this will help us in the long run.

I live in Ohio, darling. I know my duty. Do you think I was excited about voting for John Kerry?

A possibility that has been overlooked in every discussion I've seen is that he's black? I'm assuming he is considering the roles he played. The story can easily be dissected to look like madness on his part because a fair cross section of Americans will assume his guilt.

I'm a white man who at least likes to think he is pro black. When I've seen previous stories like this I've thought to myself, "What an asshole!" It seems that they should know being a black celebrity(or let's face it, black garbage man), any possible infraction is going to be smeared across all media so that everyone can clutch their pearls. And many times, I have later heard the truth and went to a mirror to think, "What an asshole!"
