Doing precisely what he warned others against—mistaking narrow expertise and success for general brilliance—Silver lived long enough to see himself become the villain.
Amazing how many people completely gave up any semblance of wanting a real democracy just because they had to get vaccinated for certain jobs (just like they always always have) and wear a flipping mask when they went in a public space for a while. Just like, yeah I was a lifelong democrat but then the CDC said I need to wear a mask at work so forget it. I love Ron Desantis now
I have very few skills but ignoring Nate Silver is one of them so I don't have much to say about the subject. I do, however, have an opinion about one throw away line in this post, "...rump seized control of a party that couldn’t decide on the sides for a fast-food combo meal."
That makes me feel a tiny bit of sympathy for them. Why do we need so many side options at fast food places? All we need are fries or onion rings, unless you're KFC then we need those glorious and disgusting mashed potatoes made from powder and shame. And don't talk to me about a side salad, if you wanted a healthy option you wouldn't be at the Dairy Queen drive thru, Carol.
Also my other skill is soup making.
Also too, idagaf about side options, I just thought the entire notion of having that conversation is hilarious, so I'm not trying to fight with you about Mac & cheese.
I have said this before, but when Reagan got the nomination, I was giddy. "Everyone knows how he fucked up California!"Then came GWB. "Everyone knows he's a moron!"When TFG got the nomination, all I got was a sour stomach. The more batshit the R candidate, the more likely to win.
Next thing you knew, Nate was a regular paid contributor on Faux News, bashing how mean & out of touch the left is, just like Smegma & Gabbard
They could get rid of Chris fucking Christie and nothing of value would be lost.

Good riddance.
