You only have to look at what the RW did to Julia Gillard in Australia and then you will get a good idea of what will happen to Hillary but a thousand times worse.

or was it the Riddler? (aka. we can't wait to be rid of this guy)

Susan McDougal. She was one brave lady. Now a chaplain and advocate for prison reform. Her husband was a rat bastard

I can wait. The last thing I want is for the crazy man to drop out before November and give the Repubs a chance to field someone halfway sane.

Besides (always providing he does not win), he is the best thing to happen to comedy and to the Dems in decades.

Or when FOX convinces you to vote for an idiot by simply telling you a ton of things that are not true.

Of course, you have to be an idiot to believe FOX news.

Not with other right-wingers, apparently. Their appetite for bile and misinformation appears to be limitless. In many ways it presents like an addiction.

And the GOP has become a cult.

Good thing our next President will be a girl.

the Repubs /have/ someone halfway sane?

Totally second the comedy part though.

They do, but the halfway sane ones are currently in hiding. It's a Witless Protection Service.

True, but given Hillary's ability to handle this sort of thing with grace and bad-assery it might turn out to be a great step towards women's equality.

The problem is that Julia Gillard AND Hillary dealt with this with grace and bad-assery but it didn't save Julia. I have NEVER seen so much bullsh*t in my life in Aussie politics flung at one person all because of their gender. It was a deep seated hatred that was just coming from all corners. I fear this is what will happen to Hillary (and has happened to her)

I think that Hillary Clinton is to some degree immunized against attacks. The Repubs are still harping on Benghazi!!! and even bringing up Vince Foster--pretty weak stuff. And she is very good at dealing with it.

That said, I agree with you that women face incredible bias. It is akin to racism, but more universal. Ethnicity is culture-related; the U.S. is racist about dark skin, but countries with predominantly dark-skinned people are not. I can't think of any culture or major religion anywhere in the world that has not shown bias against women.

JUST BECAUSE SHE'S A WOMAN, WE SHOULD ALL VOTE FOR HER? BEING SO WELL-REHEARSED DOES NOT MAKE HER SO PROFESSIONAL !!

Don't you hate it when they overplay the Woman card?
