Yep. I'm white and Jewish, and therefore read as white to most people. Which means when Neo Nazis visit my place of work, decked out in full 88 gear, I am allowed to walk off post to hyperventilate a bit if I need to (usually after the fact, I can generally comport myself for long periods because the customer Service is strong with me).

I was a life coach until I got to a record of 0–28. As it happens, death always wins.

Niece. Her brother (Fred 3) has a child with cerebal palsy. The Trump family agreed to pay for care, until Fred 3's family learned Fred 2 was getting screwed in the inheritance from Fred 1. The Pumpkin Traitor in the White House is more than enough proof that institutional, endemic racism has always existed in this country.

We get a LOT of tourists. Worldwide and nationwide. Honestly the worst were the old couple who were upset about going through security, then when I explained everyone has to go thru security, told me to get a job. To which I replied this was my job.

I have rarely met a real "blue-sky" visionary in the top levels of the corporate world. Personally, I probably only know two who fit that description, and this goes for both media and marketing communications companies that I have worked for, as well as their clients.

I would consider the better ones to simply be good at organization- basically very effective macro-level managers. However, I have found that many of the people in C-suite roles are simply psychopaths, who see "vision" or "innovation" as jumping on some new thing they recently heard about, and then bullying their subordinates into doing it, regardless of the actual business impact.

That is pretty much still how publishing internships work.

Why do they keep having to throw their Yankees fandom in our face all the time?

I'm fine if they want to do it at home, but children shouldn't be exposed to that.
