Then he started looking for windmills because the area we live in is rather windy. He couldn't get a permit to put up a windmill so my gadget loving father had to give up on that idea. Arizona, with all its sun and wind does very little to encourage renewables because republicans are stoopid. Yeah, I said it. Why haven't the oil and natural gas people been branching out to the renewables? Seems like it would be cheaper to do that and keep making money than to bribe politicians to stay in power. SIGH.
