I'm not a big Biden fan, but I do believe he's an adult. January can't get here soon enough. Most importantly, are Steyer and Bloomberg working to flip the Senate?

We probably do. There are VERY talented in the space program who are working on many different projects. They can do almost anything, with the right resources and support.

I'd be surprised if this worked.

FLIP THE FUCKING SENATE!!

It's just another version of their claim that government is the problem, then hobbling/starving/strangling government, then saying "see we told you government doesn't work." Now it's "governors bad, governors should do it themselves, keep governors from doing it themselves, see? governors bad"

Did Bernie ever weigh in on the Crozier Caper?

The Affordable Care Act, as originally intended, was better than it is. It's a new program, and needs tweaks and outright fixes. While I'd like a single payer, we may have to get there incrementally.

BUT FIRST WE HAVE TO FLIP THE FUCKING SENATE!!!!!

Biden wants to get elected. So once nominated and throughout his term there needs to be steady pressure on improving health care.

Ok, a couple of things. There is ample, crowd-sourced evidence out there that health care remains the #1 issue for voters across America. That is because health care is the issue that feeds into all the others.

Biden knows this, it's not news.

Second, the universal healthcare (or M4A being the closest possible option to it), is not in any way shape or form socialism. No more than the federal highway system is socialism. Government would not own the pharmas or hospitals nor is paying a lot for medicine the only thing keeping us from becoming the USSR, circa 1984. Hell, People living in Britain (socialized medicine!!!) can obtain private insurance, and about 10 percent of them do. About one-third of people with private insurance purchase it with their own money, while the rest receive it as a benefit of employment. ... Private insurance covers care provided outside the tax-funded NHS system.

Biden knows this too. It is not news.

What we are finding out from this current crisis is that our patchwork, profit centric approach to healthcare does not work for anyone but the insurance companies, the pharmas and the guys lobbying for them (and the lucky few GETTING lobbied).

Biden knows that a $35k medical bill is out of reach for most Americans. That is not news and it is the impetus behind my original post. Everyone should be accountable for their positions.

Perfectly fine. Challenging positions that are contrary to well being of the majority of the people he intends to govern is pressure.
