How do we fix it? Vote. Get decent people into the Senate. Take away the GOP majority. Unfortunately, that's going to take rebuilding the Dem Party from the local level on up in various parts of the country that have been long abandoned. No one is going to vote for a party that might effect their lives occasionally if that party doesn't show up and prove they are doing good things on a daily basis.

Voting is a minimum. Not all votes are equal (electoral college, Senate, gerrymandered house seats). Democrats get more votes and less power again and again. I'm not content to sit on my hands for 2 years and "hope for the best"
Let the rich start to pay their fair share again. Repeal the 2017 tax cut for rich fuckwads, and raise the cap on Social Security to at least a million dollars.
