Republican intransigence is to be expected, but Democrats seem to like to pretend Sinema and Manchin aren't members of their party responsible for tanking the biggest parts of their party's legislative agenda. They are members of the party in name at least. Without them, the republicans would control the Senate and nothing would get passed. With them, we have to make compromises to pass anything.

The "because" doesn't matter. They gave you bullshit reasons for siding with the Republicans, and you should be smarter than to fall for it.
